Welcome to Digital Destinations in History wikispace.

Digital Destinations In History (DDIH) is an intensive professional development progam that will focus on improving students achievement in ELA by integrating technology into the Social Studies curriculum. DDIH serves the goals of the Enhancing Education Through Technology theme, "Technology Infusion into Instruction through Professional Development," by empowering educators to engage students in interdisciplinary projects that develop writing, critical thinking and program solving skills. The DDIH program aims to train teachers to use technology as both an instructional tool for the Social Studies curriculum and as a reinforcement of fundamental ELA skills.

The ultimate goal of the DDIH Program is to improve academic performance in ELA by enhancing teachers' abilities to effectively infuse technology into their Social Studies instruction.

All projects created by participants in the Digital Destinations in History program will be uploaded and housed on this wiki. This will allow participants to freely share their original work with their colleagues.

To upload your project, click on your District in the menu to the left, click on your school and then click on your name and complete the table on your page. Attach your project in the File Upload cell in the table.
