There are no advertisements and a friendly license allows teachers and students to use up to 50 educational clipart items in a single, non-commercial project without further permission.

Compfight is a great source for copyright friendly images. A great help is that this site provides the size of the image right on the thumbnail. Make sure that you are searching creative commons pictures only.
